Students will work on a new HPC cluster hosted in CESGA with more than 7000 cores based on the newest technology. The HPC system also provides a number of nodes with accelerators (such as Intel Xeon Phi and GPUs) explicitly dedicated to advanced research projects. This allows student to gain direct experience in a production environment and to explore characteristics and configurations of an HPC cluster.
